Los Angeles Datacenter Motherboard/RAM Replacement - Node: DC03LA182KVM

We have identified the root cause of the recent recurring issues affecting host node DC03LA182KVM to be related to a faulty motherboard.

Our on-site team is actively replacing the motherboard at this time. In addition, we are proactively replacing all RAM in the node as an added precaution. These hardware replacements are expected to resolve the repeated instability and reboot issues observed on this node.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your patience while our team completes the necessary hardware replacement and verification work.

UPDATE: The motherboard and RAM replacement has been completed for node DC03LA182KVM. This is now back online.

UPDATE: It appears that DC03LA182KVM is experiencing intermittent issues again. Our engineers are performing additional diagnostic tests to identify the root cause and to get to the bottom of this. We sincerely apologize for the continued issues with this, and we will work to implement a permanent resolution ASAP. Thank you for your extended patience while we work on this.

UPDATE: This is resolved at this time, and we are optimistically monitoring the server to ensure of its stability going forward. New York Datacenter OUTAGE - NYRN159KVM

We are aware that NYRN159KVM is currently experiencing connectivity issues. We are currently looking into this node further and will provide additional updates on this matter once we have more information.

UPDATE: We are aware of the continued issues affecting the particular host node “NYRN159KVM”, and it appears that our previous troubleshooting efforts have not fully resolved the problem.

At this point, we will need to involve physical intervention at the datacenter for further investigation and troubleshooting of this host node. Our team will continue working on this closely with the onsite staff, and will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while we work toward a full and lasting resolution.

UPDATE 5:35 PM PDT:

The onsite team is actively troubleshooting temperature related issues with this server. We appreciate your patience and will have this resolved ASAP.

UPDATE 8:00 PM PDT:

We have identified issues with the server’s motherboard, a new server is currently being built so that we can move/transplant the drives over to the new replacement machine. This may take several more hours from here before VMs will be back online. We will update once additional progress is made.
