We are creating this separate status incident to track the ongoing issue affecting CHI103KVM following the broader scheduled maintenance. All other nodes included in the original maintenance event (with the exception of CHI103KVM) are back online.
CHI103KVM is currently failing to boot after maintenance was finished.
Based on our checks so far, the storage devices appear safe and data appears to remain intact. We suspect a RAM or motherboard issue, and are actively working with the Chicago on-site datacenter team through remote hands to troubleshoot and restore service.
We apologize for the continued disruption. We will provide another update as soon as we have further findings or a clearer estimate for restoration.
UPDATE: CHI103KVM is resolved, the issue was narrowed down to a failed DIMM (RAM) which has now been replaced. All VMs on CHI103KVM are now back online.
